Government rejects 10 out of 12 tuition fee proposals under student pressure
We just heard this morning that the provincial government has rejected ten out of the twelve tuition fee proposals, 8 of which were from the University of Manitoba. The two that have been approved are the MBA increase (smaller than was proposed) and the Dentistry increase (as proposed). It may be a partial victory, but a victory nonetheless. Congratulations to everyone who has been working and organizing on this issue!
