The University’s Proposals

While we don’t know (at this point) precisely what the University of Manitoba has requested from the Council on Post-Secondary Education (COPSE) and the Government of Manitoba, we do know some of what administration was discussing prior to formally making the proposals. COPSE refuses to tell us what the University actually proposed, but as far we know these increases are what the University are asking for.

When reading these figures, remember that International Students (students coming to the U of M from another country on a student visa) currently pay 350% of what Canadian students pay. This means the scale of the proposals for International Students is much, much higher.
